Hahaha! I was in famously posh Dublin landmark restaurant a few months ago and noticed their only draught lager was Bud. Bud occupies about the same market demographic here as Stella does in the UK, and white tracksuits, gold jewellery and wispy moustaches do everywhere.

Well, many a posh (or wanna be posh) restaurant in Prague will offer you Stella Artois. Can you believe that? In the country with, arguably, the best pale lagers in the world, they your intelligence is insulted with that pseudo imported piss?Thing is that, on the one hand, most restaurant owners don't know the first thing about beer, nor they care to learn, on the other hand, they are happy to accept favours, freebies or even cash from some brewers or distributors.
Perrier-Jouet is also crap, for what it's worth.
